Ric Flair: Woo! Wooo! Wooo! As Kenny Resnick likes to say, welcome to another edition of AWA All-Star Wrestling. And trust me baby, when I say, allllll the stars out here tonight. The cream of the crop, the stars you need to know, the Four Horsemen. Now we have been approached by AWA President Stanley Blackburn with a proposition to main event AWA War Games here in just a few short weeks. But Stan wanted to up it just a little bit further. He says I want this to be a War Games match. What's a War Games match you ask? Oh I knew you'd say that. Two teams of four men are locked inside a steel cage. Once all eight men have entered, the first one to get the pinfall or submission wins the match for his team. But folk, don't get your hopes up. I went to Mr. Blackburn and I said, sorry no can do. And I know you're thinking the Four Horsemen are scared to get in the ring with them. WRONG! It's a numbers and figures thing you see. Let's just say Jerry Blackwell had a little accident while training last week and by my calculations, that puts them a man down. Don't have four guys on your team, well then I guess there's not going to be a War Games match.
Dusty Rhodes: Hold on a minute heee Mista Fleeeiiiiirrr. Poor Jerry here is walking around with a bandage on his leg and a crutch on his arms because of the actions of your Windham and your Anderson. Yea, right now, we may be down a man. We may down 4 on 3. But trust me, we are working on it. And in two weeks’ time we will have a fourth by our side. Even if it ends up being my Aunt Thelma, we'll still defeat you in that cage. And my Aunt Thelma is a feisty one, she'd probably beat you up herself!
Ric Flair: Oh no! Not true! Not true at all!
Dusty Rhodes: Ric Flair, Four Horsemen, we'll see you at AWA War Games locked inside that mammoth steel cage. And at the end of the day, you are looking at the team that will be crowned victorious.
Ken Resnick: Just as Ric Flair said, welcome to this edition of AWA All-Star Wrestling as we drop a bombshell announcement for AWA War Games. As it will be in a steel cage War Games match, the Four Horsemen taking on the team of Dusty Rhodes, Dick Murdoch, Scott Hall and a partner yet to be determined!
Ken Resnick: Next up we have the evil manic known as Abdullah the Butcher. Last week we saw him team with the Road Warriors at AWA Wrestle Rumble to defeat the AWA Tag Team Champions, Greg Gagne & Curt Hennig along with Bruiser Brody. Abdullah came soaring off the top rope, a place we very rarely see him, to win the match for his team pinning Curt Hennig.
Verne Gagne: Tonight, we'll see him take on two men in a handicap match as it will be Abdullah the Butcher taking on Steve Regal and Stan Lane.
Ken Resnick: And before the bell even rings for this one, Abdullah the Butcher has pulled out a Oriental Spike and is attacking both Regal and Lane with it. This is absolutely vicious and without a doubt, uncalled for!
Verne Gagne: Ah, listen to poor Steve Regal scream as Abdullah tries to tear into the helpless man's eye. This is absolutely brutal!
Ken Resnick: Abdullah the Butcher has dumped Stan Lane to the outside as I believe this match has been called before it even really started. Whenever we see Abdullah the Butcher in an AWA ring, it always seems that insanity ensues.
Verne Gagne: No! No! NO!
Ken Resnick: Abdullah the Butcher has grabbed the ring steps and he's about to drop them right on top of the head of Stan Lane!
Bruiser Brody: Abdulllllaaaahhhhhhhhhh!
Bruiser Brody: HUSS! Abdullah. I am tired of this. You go around thinking you can cause destruction wherever you go. You think you can pick on anyone and everyone. I still haven't forgotten what you did to Andre the Giant so many weeks ago. AWA War Games is coming up. And I think a war game is what we need to have. AWA War Games, I already got the contract signed. It's me vs. you and this time I mean waaaarrrrrr!!!!!!
Ken Resnick: What a blockbuster match that's going to be! Another match added to AWA War Games in a few weeks as it will be Bruiser Brody taking on Abdullah the Butcher!
Ken Resnick: Coming back from break we have Eddie Gilbert in the ring with Hot Stuff International.
Verne Gagne: Eddie Gilbert as we have seen in the past few weeks is a little bit of a love triangle going on here. Precious and Rick Rude have been going behind his back somewhat as we can actually see I on camera right now.
Ken Resnick: Eddie Gilbert is pandering to the camera and Precious and Rude look like they have a little something going on behind in the back of Eddie Gilbert. This could be an interesting thing to watch as the weeks unfold.
Verne Gagne: Eddie Gilbert now looks like he's getting Precious and talking to her about Rude.
Ken Resnick: Rude does not look too happy over the situation as Eddie Gilbert seems to want to be the man in control of his Hot Stuff International group but Rude seems to have something else to say about that.
Verne Gagne: What a confusing situation, I'm not really sure what's going on here
Ken Resnick:And I'm not sure who this is coming down to the ring but newcomer “Rugged” Ronnie Garvin is making his way to the ring with a bearded woman??? I'm really not sure what's going on here.
Verne Gagne: Eddie Gilbert's screaming at the top of his lungs at Ronnie Garvin and this bearded woman. Let’s listen in and see if we can pick up what Eddie Gilbert is saying.
Eddie Gilbert:Garvin! Jimmy! I know that’s you Jimmy! Jimmy!
”The Bearded Woman”: You better be careful who you’re calling Jimmy! I don't know any Jimmy.
Ken Resnick: Jimmy the Bearded Woman? We're really not sure if he is maybe alluding to Jimmy Garvin.
Verne Gagne:We have not seen him since the loser leaves town match back at AWA Wrestle Rumble, the last pay-per-view. But I'm not really sure that’s Garvin, it’s really tough to tell from our vantage point.
Verne Gagne:Well here we go, as we have scheduled a singles match as I believe it's Bill Irwin of the Long Riders taking on Ronnie Garvin
Ken Resnick: Looks like the love triangle is continuing on the outside and it’s a bit distracting to Bill Irwin.
Verne Gagne: They don't call this man the “Hands of Stone” for nothing! Ronnie Garvin loads up right-hand and he connects with the head of Bill Irwin!
Ken Resnick: Looks like Bill Irwin may just be down for the count here!
Verne Gagne: Precious is up on the ring apron as it looks like she’s starting to get frustrated over this whole love triangle situation. I don't think that Hot Stuff International realize that Irwin is down for the count.
Ken Resnick: One, two, and three, referee Marty Miller counts down the shoulders of Bill Irwin
Verne Gagne: The winner of this match is the “Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin along with “The Bearded Woman”
Ken Resnick: Precious seems to be confronting this woman. We are not really not sure what they are saying .
Precious: Jimmy! Jimmy! I know that’s you under that ridiculous looking wig!
”The Bearded Woman”: Honey, you know there’s no better looking woman than me!
Precious: You are not a better looking woman than I am! You’re not even a woman!
Verne Gagne: What a situation we have involving here with the Gilbert/Rude/Precious of Hot Stuff International love triangle. Then we have “Jimmy” the “Bearded Woman” along with the “Hands of Stone”. I think after all of that, we are in desperate need of a commercial break.
Ken Resnick:And now we are on here to our AWA All-Star Wrestling TV main event as Harley Race of the Four Horsemen takes on Dick Murdoch, who is a member of Team Dusty Rhodes.
Verne Gagne: What a confrontation we have between these two men. Two of the most intense men you will see in professional wrestling today.
Ken Resnick:The action is hot and heavy to start out the match as Dick Murdoch is laying the boots to Harley Race.
Verne Gagne: He is just absolutely destroying Harley Race with those boots to the gut.
Ken Resnick:This time Harley Race is just getting beat up over and over and over again. I just absolutely cannot believe this this action. What a match.
Ken Resnick: Murdoch is up on the very top and look at him reign down the blows. Referee Marty Miller is putting the count to Dick Murdoch as he is perched in the corner.
Verne Gagne: Oh my word Harley Race is really being beat up in the corner. What a slugfest we are seeing here in this week’s main event.
Ken Resnick: And of course the tide always can turn in these matches as Harley Race now has Dick Murdoch in a big airplane spin as he's going around and around. Who knows when they’ll stop and where they’ll go.
Verne Gagne: This match has now spilled its way out here by the broadcast booth as referee Marty Miller is putting the count to both Murdoch and Race as this is become quite a match on the outside I can't believe what I'm seeing here.
Ken Resnick: I don't think I've ever seen a brawl quite like this here in the AWA Studios as I am seeing right now.
Verne Gagne:And just as we thought there was going to be a double count out here comes Ric Flair conducting the orchestra that consists of Arn Anderson, Harley Race and Barry Windham.
Ken Resnick:[/b All of them are laying the boots to Dick Murdoch this is just a disgusting scene. I don't know if we're just going to call this match a no contest or disqualification but this is just a sickening scene as this is just a mob attack on poor Dick Murdoch.
Ken Resnick: Hold on just a second here comes the cavalry as we have Dusty Rhodes coming in to make the save as he is throwing the bionic elbow like it’s going out of style!
Verne Gagne: We have Scott Hall bouncing his knuckles off the chin of Barry Windham!
Ken Resnick: Remember this is a four on three situation as Jerry Blackwell is now out with a knee injury that will prevent him from participating in AWA War Games.
Ric Flair: Rhodes, you need a stick out of our business. You know that my goal is to gain the AWA World Heavyweight Championship. You need to keep out of my way. You’re all going to pay at AWA War Games. Remember it's submit or surrender inside the cage and I'm going to make you all surrender to the Figure Four Leg Lock. You bums don't stand a chance without a fourth teammate.
Ken Resnick: Hold on a second here remember last week their backs were turned and Stan Hanson made his way into the AWA Studios without Dusty knowing. What is Stan Hanson talking to Dusty Rhodes about?! That's all the time we have for this week! We’ll see you next week right here on AWA All-Star Wrestling!
